Blackcomb Lake
Blackcomb was created in 2023 and has been developed for the carp angler that likes to cast. The lake is just over 13 acres in size and with only 16 swims this gives each angler, on average, a generous ¾ or an acres per swim. There are 4 central islands splitting the lake into two halves defining easy markers for each angler. The lakebed is clay, and depths are varied around the lake giving a little something for everyone, anytime of the year. The 13 acre lake is stocked with 500 carp, the majority of which have been supplied by NS Carp Farm and these carp are a Croatian cross. Of the 500 carp, 100 of them have been supplied by VS Fisheries. At least 30 of the stocked carp weighed between 30lb – 38lb.
